GP Net Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients in the practice. The average pay for GPs working at the Arrival Practice in the last financial year before Tax and National Insurance was £27,492. This is for 2 part time GPs. We also employed locums to provide additional appointments for our patients but each of these worked for less than 6 months in the practice so are not required to be included in these earnings.

It should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much Doctors spend working in the practice and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make comparison with any other practice.
